This Top will only fit models converted by Car Craft Company. Look for nameplate on driver's door or trunk lid. You can buy a Convertible Top with Plastic window or Convertible Top with Glass window if you have your factory Glass window. Please read Glass window important note below before ordering.
This convertible top for the Mercury Cougar fits the 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989 model years converted by the Car Craft Company.
Important Glass window note: Convertible Top with Glass window option is a core program which means you need to ship your existing Glass to be be re-covered with new material and shipped back along with new Top cover. For verification purpose, rear raw Glass should measure 8 inches high at highest point & 34 inches wide at widest point including material covered edges of the Glass. If you are not sure please call us for more information.

Top Pads are made with special Black heavy duty Topping material. You can re-use your existing Top Pads if they are in good shape. Top Pads sold as a set, buy one order per car.
Factory style cables are not available for this model that is why we are offering universal style cables with Spring on one end and open on the other end ready to crimp after determining the correct length based on attachment point on the top frame.
