Convertible Tops & Accessories:1989 thru 1994 Ford Capri & Capri XR2

Factory style 1 piece Top with plastic window. Top cover fits both Left hand & Right hand drive models.

This convertible top for the Ford Capri & Capri XR2 fits the 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994 model years.

  • All the seams are Heat-Sealed. All Convertible Top materials are mildew & mold resistant, and UV treated for color fastness. The plastic windows are DOT rated heavy 40 gage thick vinyl. No sewing is required.
  • Warranty Info: For this model, EZ ON & Robbins brands come with 5-year warranty and includes (18) months labor allowance from purchase date. Topsonline brand comes with 5-year warranty but includes No labor allowance (replacement only). You can read detailed warranty information on our warranty page.

Convertible Top with Plastic Window Options

From factory 1989 thru June 1992 production dates had Style-1 Top & from July 1992 thru 1994 production dates had Style-2 Top. More than few car Top frames were modified by dealers under warranty which makes it very difficult to determine Top style based on manufacture date.

  • EZ ON & Robbins brands offer both Style-1 & Style-2 Tops and will only fit specific size Top Frame, that is why recommended to measure your existing Top based on the diagram (click on Yellow box below) and order accordingly.

Convertible Top Cables

Capri Top has 2 sets of Cables, Side Tension Cables located above the side windows & Rear Lower Cables located under the rear plastic window, please choose accordingly. Cables sold as a pair, buy one order of each per car. You can re-use your existing Top Cables if they are in a good shape.

  • Side Tension Cables available in 2 sizes, 23 inches & 25 inches, please measure your existing Side Tension Cables and order accordingly.
  • Rear Lower Cables are the same for all 1989 thru 1994 models.
