(1) Which years and models does this top fit?
This one‑piece convertible top with integrated clear vinyl/plastic window is explicitly designed to fit the Singer Gazelle convertible models built from 1959 through 1962, compatible with both left‑hand drive and right‑hand drive versions.
(2) What materials and color options are available?
This top is available in several material options:
British Everflex Vinyl (original factory material)
Haartz Leather Textured Vinyl (a durable and more budget‑friendly alternative)
Haartz Stayfast Cloth (canvas/mohair style)
All fabrics are UV treated and mildew‑resistant. Plastic windows are made from heavy 40‑gauge DOT‑rated vinyl.
(3) Is padding included, and how are seams constructed?
You can choose the top with or without sewn‑in padding (top pads). Seams are electronically heat‑sealed and sewn for reinforcement, which helps ensure durability and weather resistance.
(4) What historic features of the Singer Gazelle convertible does this top preserve?
This reproduces the unique “coupé‑de‑ville” (two‑position) top used on early Gazelle convertibles: fully lowered or rolled down just behind the front seats, exposing the front seat area. That distinctive folding‑top style was standard on models from 1959–1962.
(4) Who manufactures this product and is there a warranty?
The top is made by Robbins Auto Tops, a well‑regarded professional brand. It includes a 5‑year factory warranty covering the top and the bonding of the plastic window, plus an 18‑month labor allowance.
