(1) Which vehicles is this convertible top designed to fit?
This top is made to fit the 1961 and 1962 MGA Mk II Roadster (Mark 2) and is compatible with both left‑hand and right‑hand drive models, following exact factory-style patterns.
(2) What window configuration is included?
It includes three DOT-rated clear plastic (vinyl) windows, integrated as a factory-style design, electronically welded into the one-piece deck—matching the original Mark II configuration.
(3) What materials are available?
Tops are available in British Everflex Vinyl, Haartz Leather-Textured Vinyl (British Bison grain), or Haartz Stayfast Cloth.
(4) Can I install this Convertible Top myself?
Technically, yes, most people can manage to install a Convertible Top on their own, provided they have experience working on automotive upholstery projects. However, TopsOnline.com recommends using a professional installer. Why? Because (a) a professional is going to provide you with the very best convertible top installation that you could ask for; (b) in the rare case where an installer might make a mistake, they’ll take care of it – but if YOU make a mistake with your own installation, that’s coming out of your pocket; and (c) finally, manufacturers reserve the right to void a warranty due to a faulty installation when that installation is done by someone who is not a professional installer. So bottom line: don’t take the risk: hire a professional installer for your convertible top installation – it’s worth it and you won’t regret it!
(5) What warranty coverage is provided?
Tops are manufactured under the Robbins brand, known for precision craftsmanship. Each comes with a 5‑year (60‑month) warranty on the top and window bond, plus an 18‑month labor allowance.
