Factory style 2-piece Top with Heated / Defroster Glass Window. You can buy Top with Window which includes the main Top Cover section & the Window section or you can buy Top with Window Kit which in addition to Top & Window sections also Includes Top Pads, Side Cables, 8 feet front style Tacking strip insert & 8 feet rear style Tacking strip insert. Factory material info: Sailcloth Textured Vinyl is the original material for all Mustang, V6 & GT models, also, for 1994 thru 2001 Cobra models. Haartz Twillfast RPC Cloth is the original material for all 2002 thru 2004 Cobra models. We also offer Haartz Stayfast Cloth as a less expensive Cloth option. Ford Saddle Color was used on 1994 thru 1998 models. Parchment Color was used on 1999 thru 2004 models.

All the seams are Heat-Sealed. All Convertible Top materials are mildew & mold resistant, and UV treated for color fastness. Rear windows are DOT rated professional grade safety Windows made by well-known manufacturers. No sewing is required. Convertible Top & Window: What to Know about 2-Piece Convertible Tops

When you purchase a 2-Piece Convertible Top & Window, you will receive two sections of the top: the Convertible Top section and the Window section. They are ready for installation; no sewing is required. During installation, each section gets installed on the Top Frame separately (the same as the factory top installation). After installation is completed, the Convertible Top Quarters will overlap the 2 sides of the Window Section, making it look like a 1-Piece Top; in reality, they are 2 pieces overlapping each other (which is the same as the original Top).

NOTE: With a Convertible Top & Window, if your model's Top installation requires, you will receive:

(1) New Wire-on trim & 2 Chrome Ends to hide the staples;
(2) New assembled Convertible Top Header Seal made with the same material as the Top Cover, or extra material the same as the Top material to recover the existing header seal. (The Top Header Seal is NOT the front rubber weather strip.)

EZ ON Brand Convertible Tops include a 3-year (36-month) warranty for the convertible top and glass window bond to the original purchaser; an eighteen (18) month labor allowance is also included. Please see our Warranty page for more details.

TopsOnline offers three material options:

Haartz Sailcloth Textured Vinyl: Factory-original for all 1994–2001 Mustang V6, GT, and Cobra models.
Haartz Twillfast Cloth: Factory-original for 2002–2004 Cobra models.
Haartz Stayfast Cloth: A high-quality, cost-effective cloth alternative.

All materials are UV-treated, mold/mildew resistant, and feature heat-sealed seams for durability.

(2) What does the 2-piece convertible top and window kit include?

The standard Convertible Top includes: The main convertible top section and the rear glass window section with a built-in defroster.
An optional full kit adds: Convertible top pads, side tension cables, and 8 feet each of front and rear tacking strip inserts. These components ensure a comprehensive replacement, mirroring the original factory setup.

(3) Will the defroster function work on all Mustang models?

The rear window defroster will only function if your Mustang was originally equipped with the factory rear defrost system. If your vehicle lacks this feature, the defroster wiring in the new window will not operate.
