(1) Which vehicles does this convertible top fit?
This top is specifically made for the 1971 through 1974 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spider, covering all production years of this model.
(2) What materials are available for this convertible top?
You can choose between Haartz Twillfast Cloth or Sonnenland German Cloth. Both are high-quality, OEM-style materials. The top also includes a clear plastic rear window, heat-sealed seams, and factory-style hand-rolled bindings.
(3) Is sewing required during installation?
No sewing is required. The top comes fully fabricated with heat-sealed seams and factory-bonded window. You can expect a seamless, ready-to-install top. Professional installation is recommended to ensure a precise fit.
(4) Can I install this Convertible Top myself?
Technically, yes, most people can manage to install a Convertible Top on their own, provided they have experience working on automotive upholstery projects. However, TopsOnline.com recommends using a professional installer. Why? Because (a) a professional is going to provide you with the very best convertible top installation that you could ask for; (b) in the rare case where an installer might make a mistake, they’ll take care of it – but if YOU make a mistake with your own installation, that’s coming out of your pocket; and (c) finally, manufacturers reserve the right to void a warranty due to a faulty installation when that installation is done by someone who is not a professional installer. So bottom line: don’t take the risk: hire a professional installer for your convertible top installation – it’s worth it and you won’t regret it!
(5) Does it include a warranty or installation support?
Yes. This Robbins-made top carries a 5‑year (60‑month) warranty covering both the material and the plastic window bonding, plus an 18‑month labor allowance for installation.
