Important Glass window note: Convertible Top with Glass window option is a core program which means you need to ship your existing Glass to be be re-covered with new material and shipped back along with new Top cover. For verification purpose, rear raw Glass should measure 8 inches high at highest point & 34 inches wide at widest point including material covered edges of the Glass. Convertible Top & Window: What to Know about 2-Piece Convertible Tops

When you purchase a 2-Piece Convertible Top & Window, you will receive two sections of the top: the Convertible Top section and the Window section. They are ready for installation; no sewing is required. During installation, each section gets installed on the Top Frame separately (the same as the factory top installation). After installation is completed, the Convertible Top Quarters will overlap the 2 sides of the Window Section, making it look like a 1-Piece Top; in reality, they are 2 pieces overlapping each other (which is the same as the original Top).

NOTE: With a Convertible Top & Window, if your model's Top installation requires, you will receive:

(1) New Wire-on trim & 2 Chrome Ends to hide the staples;
(2) New assembled Convertible Top Header Seal made with the same material as the Top Cover, or extra material the same as the Top material to recover the existing header seal. (The Top Header Seal is NOT the front rubber weather strip.)

EZ ON Brand Convertible Tops include a 3-year (36-month) warranty for the convertible top and the glass window bond, to the original purchaser; an eighteen (18) month labor allowance is also included. Please see our Warranty page for more details.

This kit is specifically designed for the 1986–1988 Cadillac Coupe DeVille models that were converted to convertibles by Car Craft or H & E. When ordering, ensure your car has the proper conversion nameplate—usually located on the driver’s door or the trunk lid.

While the top comes with the core fabric and your original heated glass, installation accessories like tension cables, header seals, tacking strips, and pads are not included in the base price. You’ll need to purchase them separately depending on your conversion’s condition and installer’s requirements.

This EZ ON convertible top includes a 3‑year warranty on material and window bonding, plus an 18‑month labor allowance.
