(1) Which models does this top fit?
It is designed for the 1962 and 1963 Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Spider & Veloce) & Giulia Spider (101 Series).
(2) What materials and window type are used?
Constructed from high-quality Haartz Pinpoint Vinyl or Stayfast Cloth, with a durable, DOT-certified 40-gauge plastic rear window that’s heat-sealed and double-stitched.
(3) How is fit and construction quality ensured?
Patterned from a factory-original top, precision-cut on advanced Gerber equipment from one material bolt, with uniform stitching, matching binding, and heat-sealed deck seams for strength and water resistance.
(4) How does the top attach to the car?
Rivets secure the top to a rear bar bolted onto the deck & 2 Common Sense fasteners on each Quarter, no sewing required—just rivet, staple, or contact cement installation.
(5) Can I install this Convertible Top myself?
Technically, yes, most people can manage to install a Convertible Top on their own, provided they have experience working on automotive upholstery projects. However, TopsOnline.com recommends using a professional installer. Why? Because (a) a professional is going to provide you with the very best convertible top installation that you could ask for; (b) in the rare case where an installer might make a mistake, they’ll take care of it – but if YOU make a mistake with your own installation, that’s coming out of your pocket; and (c) finally, manufacturers reserve the right to void a warranty due to a faulty installation when that installation is done by someone who is not a professional installer. So bottom line: don’t take the risk: hire a professional installer for your convertible top installation – it’s worth it and you won’t regret it!
