Important Notes: Early 1971 Satellites were manufactured with 6 bows, and Late 1971 Satellites were manufactured with 4 bows holding up the headliner (inside roof cover). Before you purchase, please count the number of bows in your vehicle; look for the number of seams running across the headliner. Make your purchase accordingly. Hardware for headliners and sun visors is not included. Headliners do not include bows nor bow chrome, and sun visors do not include bars nor mounting brackets. New Metal Bow Kits for your headliner are available for purchase separately if you need them. All bows are numbered starting from the front for ease of installation. Bow Kits ship with 6 Bows -- for Late 1971 4-Bow Models discard Bows #3 and #5 and install with 4 remaining Bows.
Please Note: These Headliners (inside roof covers) and Headliner/Sail Panels/Sun Visor Kits either fit the 1971 Plymouth Satellite & Satellite Sebring 2-Door Hardtop Models with 6 Bows OR Satellite & Satellite Sebring 2-Door Hardtop Models with 4 Bows.

(1) What vehicle does this replacement headliner fit?
This replacement headliner is designed to fit either the Early 1971 6-Bow or the Late 1971 4-Bow Plymouth Satellite & Satellite Sebring 2-Door Hardtop model; it is made to match the original roof contour and factory pattern for that exact year and body style.
Before ordering, you should count the number of seams running across the headliner in your vehicle—each seam corresponds to a bow.
(2) What purchase configurations are available and how do they differ?
You can choose among three package options:
Headliner Cover Only: Includes a ready-to-install headliner plus extra matching material for recovering sail panels and sun visors (sewing required for visor & sail panel covering).
Headliner + Sail Panels: Adds ready-to-install sail panels mounted on backing boards; no sewing needed for these components, but visor covering still requires sewing.
Headliner + Sail Panels + Sun Visors: Provides a fully ready-to-install kit including headliner, sail panels, and sun visors, with no sewing required for any included parts.
(3) Does this headliner come with installation hardware (bows, trim, etc.)?
No. Headliner hardware is not included with this replacement part. That means it does not include headliner bows, bow chrome, or installation clips. You must reuse your original hardware or source replacements separately. Please see our related products for this model if you need a New Metal Bow Kit to complete your restoration.
(4) Are the materials used in the replacement headliner faithful to the factory original?
Yes. The replacement is offered in Premier Perforated Vinyl, Premier Plain (non-perforated) Vinyl and Snakebite Tier Grain Vinyl, which are the industry-standard materials intended to match the original factory style for this model and era.
(5) Is there a warranty on this headliner and are there shipping or return policies I should be aware of?
Yes — the headliner carries a 3-year (36-month) manufacturer warranty.
