(1) What vehicle does this replacement headliner fit?

This factory-style replacement headliner is specifically made for the 1971 Plymouth GTX 2-Door Hardtop. It fits cars equipped with either 4-bow or 6-bow headliner configurations used on that body style.

Before ordering, you should count the number of seams running across the headliner in your vehicle—each seam corresponds to a bow. Early 1971 models were manufactured with 6 bows, and later production in 1971 used 4 bows.
(2) What material options are available, and do they match the original interior?

Available material options are Premier Perforated Vinyl, Premier Plain Vinyl and Snakebite Tier Grain Vinyl. These are the industry standard replacements for the original factory-installed headliner materials for this model year.
(3) What’s the difference between the “Headliner Only” and the “Headliner and Sun Visors” options?

Headliner Only: You receive a ready-to-install headliner that’s already sewn and sized to the roof of your vehicle — no sewing required for the headliner itself. This option also includes extra matching material that you can use to recover the sun visors yourself, but sewing and trimming will be necessary if you choose to recover your original visors. This is ideal if you already have good-condition sun visors and want to reuse them or want full control over how they’re recovered during installation.

Headliner and Sun Visors Kit: In addition to the ready-to-install headliner, this option includes ready-made replacement sun visors that come pre-covered in matching material. Because they’re manufactured with the correct fit and finish already applied, no sewing is required for either the headliner or the visors. This kit simplifies installation and is a better choice if your original visors are worn, damaged, or you prefer a quicker, more complete interior refresh without custom sewing.
(4) Do I need to reuse parts from my original vehicle?

Yes. Hardware such as headliner bows, bow chrome, mounting brackets, and visor bars are not included and must be reused from your original headliner assembly or sourced separately. Please see our related products for this model if you need a New Metal Bow Kit to complete your restoration.
(5) Is there a warranty on this headliner and are there shipping or return policies I should be aware of?

Yes — the headliner carries a 3-year (36-month) manufacturer warranty.
