Important Notes: The headliners in this table are aftermarket conversion style headliners that are pre-sewn and tailored to fit this specific model. Your existing headliner as well as any stays between card board panels must be discarded. The headliners also include the bows (rods) to support the suspended headliner. The bows must be fitted to the roof of the car, so measuring and drilling is required. The Headliner is stretched in place, and the edges trimmed and finished much like a conventional headliner installation found in a vintage car.
These Non-Factory Style Aftermarket Conversion Headliners (inside roof covers) only fit the 1961 Dodge Lancer 2-Door Hardtop.
Industry Standard Replacement for OEM Material(s): Tier Grain Vinyl is the Industry Standard Replacement for the factory original headliner material for this Dodge Lancer model year.
Headliner Only: You will receive a ready-to-install headliner; no sewing is required for the headliner. You will also receive extra matching material to allow you to re-cover your sun visors; sewing will be necessary to re-cover your sun visors.
These Automotive Interior Headliners include a 3-year (36-month) warranty from the manufacturer. Please see our Warranty page for more details.
(1) What vehicles does this headliner kit fit?

This headliner is designed exclusively for the 1961 Dodge Lancer 2-door hardtop.
(2) Is this a factory-style headliner or an aftermarket conversion?

This is an aftermarket “non-factory style” (conversion-style) headliner. It is pre-sewn and tailored for this specific model, rather than using a rigid board or original-pattern molded headliner.
(3) What does the kit include, and what must be done during installation?

The kit includes a pre-sewn headliner cover and the metal bows (support rods) required to suspend the headliner. To install it properly, you must remove the original headliner (and any cardboard panels or stays), measure and drill the roof for the bows, stretch the new liner into place, and trim and finish the edges — much like a conventional bow-style headliner installation in a vintage car.
(4) What material is used, and is it matched to the original interior look?

The headliner uses Tier Grain Vinyl, the industry-standard replacement material for the original headliner of these Dodge Dart models. This helps maintain a period-correct look and texture for the interior.
(5) Is there a warranty on this headliner and are there shipping or return policies I should be aware of?

Yes — the headliner carries a 3-year (36-month) manufacturer warranty.
