(1) What vehicles does this headliner fit?
This headliner is designed specifically for early 1966 Buick Skylark (including GS) 2-Door Hardtop models with small sail panels rather than full‐sail panels. It will not fit models that have full sail panels.
(2) What is meant by “small sail panels” vs “full sail panels”?
“Small sail panels” refer to the small triangular panels located behind the door windows and ahead of the rear quarter glass, as used in some 2-door hardtop body styles. This headliner is for the rare version of the model where the headliner extends to the rear package tray, and only has small sail panels. If your car has full sail panels, this particular headliner will not fit.
(3) What exactly is included in the headliner kit?
There are several kit‐options:
Headliner Only: you receive a ready-to-install headliner; no sewing required for the main piece. Some extra matching material is included so you can re-cover your sail panels and sun visors (but sewing will be required for those).
Headliner and Small Sail Panels Only: ready-to-install headliner and small sail panels on backing boards (no sewing required for those) + extra material for the sun visors (sewing required).
Headliner, Small Sail Panels, and Sun Visors Kit: you receive the ready-to-install headliner, ready sail panels, and ready sun visors — no sewing required.
[b]Note[/]b: Hardware, sun-visor bars, mounting brackets, bows or bow chrome are not included.
(4) What material is used, and how does it compare to the factory original?
The original material for this car was [b]Tier Grain Vinyl[/]b and this replacement uses Tier Grain Vinyl to match. So, if you’re restoring to original appearance, this is a factory‐style match.
