It would be difficult to overestimate the importance of Honda Motor Company on the automotive field. The Honda brand has long been associated with quality and customer satisfaction, and models like the Honda S2000 soft top are no exception.

The S2000 top originally debuted in 1995 as a concept car to celebrate the company?s 50th anniversary. This two-seater roadster finally came to market in 2000. Offering true sports car performance coupled with Honda reliability and an affordable price, the S2000 soft top was a runaway bestseller.

Unfortunately, even despite its affordable price tag, sales of the S2000 convertible top fell dramatically starting in 2008 in the United States, the car?s biggest market. As the American recession deepened, sales continued to fall, eventually falling 74% from their high point in 2002. The Honda S2000 top was discontinued in 2009.
