This Top will only fit models converted by Car Craft and H & E Companies. Look for nameplate on driver's door or trunk lid. You can buy a Convertible Top with Plastic window or Convertible Top with Glass window if you have your factory Glass window. Please read Glass window important note below before ordering.
This convertible top for the Oldsmobile 98 fits the 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989 model years converted by Car Craft or H & E.
Important Glass window note: Convertible Top with Glass window option is a core program which means you need to ship your existing Glass to be be re-covered with new material and shipped back along with new Top cover. For verification purpose, rear raw Glass should measure 8 inches high at highest point & 34 inches wide at widest point including material covered edges of the Glass. If you are not sure please call us for more information.

Top Pads are made with special Black heavy duty Topping material. You can re-use your existing Top Pads if they are in good shape. Top Pads sold as a set, buy one order per car.
Factory style cables are not available for this model that is why we are offering universal style cables with Spring on one end and open on the other end ready to crimp after determining the correct length based on attachment point on the top frame.
Made with hard plastic, sold in 8 feet cuts. Tacking strip can be easily cut, grinned or stacked as needed. Rear style tacking strip size is 3/8 x 1/2 inches. Front style tacking strip size is 1/8 x 5/8 inches.
Got the boot on Vic and it looks so much better than that old black one did. The fit is very good and snug. I like the way you added just a tad of material to the little pockets behind the seats that cover up the convertible frame corners. They look very nice, a smooth finish and went on very easy.
