Our convertible topping materials are mildew & mold resistant, and are UV treated for color fastness. Sunguard thread is used on all Convertible Tops & Convertible Top Windows for UV protection & long life. Our Convertible Tops are made to factory specifications to ensure perfect fit; no sewing required (just installation). All our Convertible Top seams are OEM style heat sealed & OEM stitching.
Our Convertible Top plastic windows are made with 40 gage DOT rated plastic (same as factory specs). Our Convertible Top glass windows are made with DOT approved highest quality glass. For Jaguar seat covers we use Connolly / Euro Autolux original leather. For Porsche seat covers we use Grainy & Porsche Nappa original leather. For BMW seat covers we use Smooth, Nasca & Dakota Grain original leather. For Audi seat covers we use Volterra, Valcona, Verona & Cricket Grain original leather.
Our Vinyl seat covers and trim parts are made with original Vinyls, also known as Synthetic leather & PVC. For Mercedes Benz seat covers we use original German MB Tex, Catalina & Ventura Grain Vinyl. For Jaguar seat covers we use original British Ambla textured expanded Vinyl. For Porsche, BMW & Audi seat covers we use original German Vinyl.
N.O.S. or New Old Stock are NEW materials that they have never been used in automotive seats or exposed to the conditions that cause materials to deteriorate. The materials are old because they have been made in the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Very limited quantities are still available to restore your classic car interior to factory original.
